We were asked to record this Pixies song for a compilation. After tracking the song, we decided to play it live and acoustic. Pat had a monster migraine and wore sunglasses the whole time. The only thing I can remember is seeing his back the whole time, him slumped over the piano not really saying a word to anyone. I like this version better.

Somebody asked us to record this Beatles song for a commercial. They asked us to try to make it sound exactly like the Beatles version. We tried that and it was resoundingly rejected. So for fun, we tried it this way. Rumor has it Paul McCartney was interested in using it for Memory Almost Full. That would be a false rumor.

Sometime during the recording of Descended Like Vultures (I'm guessing somewhere between bites of Mrs. Hogan's berry cobbler), I decided I wanted to have some markers that would begin, interrupt, and end the record. This one was supposed to be the opening of the record. Never made it on the record.
